I wanted to try something different with the baked beans yesterday, I usually make the open sandwich Hetal & Anuja's way. But yesterday I was not in the mood to eat it that way. So I thought of making something, other than the sandwich. So i added some onion, chilli pwd and had it with some toast and store bought hash bowns and enjoyed my breakfast. It later dawned on me that I could have added some capsicum, and how about some mushrooms as well? Mmmmmm im going to try it next time. But this was what I had yesterdayand enjoyed thouroughly all by myself:D.
1 tin- baked beans 9I used the weight watchers, as i am watching my weight;),
1 Onion- sliced lengthwise or cut in medium sized cubes,
1 green chilly- slit lengthwise,
1/2 tsp or to taste- chilly pwd,
1 tsp oil,
salt to taste.
Heatt oil in a pan, add the onon and green chilli, fry till onion is soft. Add the baked beans ans chilli pwd salt and mix wel. Serve.
