Hi friends, its been a long time since my last post ..I had a wonderful vacation and am back. Its nearly a month since we returned , but was just feeling too lazy to blog ;P.. But i finally got over my laziness and decided to resume blogging. So here I am back in action..
Today I am going to share a recipe which my mum prepared so often this time when we were at home because J loved it and wanted to have it every other day..Its oysters curry or mum calls it kalvan sukhe in konkani...
5 cloves
10 peppercorns
1/4 tspn cumin seeds
1/4 tspn turmeric
1/2 tspn chilli pwd
1/4 inch cinnamon stick
6 small garlic cloves
(grind/powder all the above ingredients in a mortar & pestle and keep aside)
2 small onions- finely chopped,
2 slit green chillies,
1tspn ginger garlic paste,
1 kokum,
a pinch of sugar,
2tbspn grated coconut.
Heat oil in a pan .Add the onions and green chillies.When the onions are soft add the ginger garlic paste and fry for few seconds. Than add the oysters and cook for a min or two.Add the ground masala and mix well also add the kokum and a pinch of sugar. Cover the pan and let cook. Once it is ready add the grated coconut,mix and turn off the gas.
